is currently looking for a Benefits Coordinator.
The right candidate will provide general information related to the company benefits program.
Research and problem resolution as requested while providing excellence in customer service to employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Administer various employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, group/supplemental life/AD&D, and flexible spending plans
Serve as the first contact for employees and other customers with questions or issues regarding benefits
Assist newly hired employees to ensure timely enrollment in benefits
Escalate eligibility and claims issues for employees to benefits vendors
Responsible for processing Medical Child Support Orders
Assist with administering the company’s Wellness program; including coordinating Wellness challenges, research/order/distribute prizes, research other Wellness opportunities, products, and discounts to provide to employees
Communicate ongoing benefit focused campaigns and vendor webinars
Maintain and update the HR Corporate Benefits site
Assist with annual open enrollment administration, including preparing benefit materials and scheduling and/or conducting Benefits meetings for employees
Serve as back-up for other team members when necessary
Respond promptly using courtesy to all verbal and written communications
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Ability to work overtime
Ability to travel overnight
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two or more years of related experience and/or training
Ability to make presentations to large groups
Communicate effectively using charts, graphs, figures, and illustrations
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
The noise level is generally moderate
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Schedule - Hybrid (3 days a week in office after a period of training)
