Auto Dealership Controller

Accelerate Auto Group is the parent company of Accelerate Auto Repair, Don’t Trade It In (vehicle purchasing company), Dallas Car Appraisals, and FAST (independent vehicle dealership).
We started out as a one man show and have expanded seven times in the last seven years.
Please do not apply if you're not a go-getter! We are currently looking for a Controller to oversee our businesses.
Extensive knowledge of car dealership operations and a strong work ethic are required.
The ability to multi-task, be a self-starter, and be a team player are all required.
Prior experience in the automotive industry is also required.
You must be trustworthy and capable of definitively accounting for all funds that are coming and going at all times.
*Job Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance preferred * 5+ Years of car dealership Controller/CFO experience * Note: general accounting experience will not meet the requirements for this job * Must be proficient in auto dealership DMS systems * Must be proficient in Quickbooks Online * Know and be able to prepare auto dealer financial statements forwards and backwards * Advise, teach, and oversee the existing accounting personnel * Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles * Monitor cash and floorplan balances * Knowledge of bank and floorplan reconciliation * And more.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
