Position Purpose: The Senior Cash Applications Coordinator is responsible for handling a variety of different duties within the A/R Department.
The primary duties of cash posting require high attention to detail and specific balance procedures for multiple location bank deposits daily.
In addition, other duties include, but are not limited to posting payments for EFT customers, processing billing statements for customers, processing daily EFTs which include either debiting or crediting customer bank accounts.
The Senior Cash Applications Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Cash Applications.
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for posting customer payments.
Prepare a daily bank deposit.
Research customer payment discrepancies that include follow up communication directly with a customer, and or, a sales representative.
Process and distribute customer billing statements by printing, faxing, and emailing.
Verify and validate driver delivery shipment reporting, or delivery manifests.
Maintain the setup of customer billing, banking, and email tables for the appropriate customer draft details according to the payment cycle for the terms assigned.
Prepare and send EFT initiation notifications to customers.
Manage the process for the daily EFT initiations of customer bank accounts.
Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of cash applications and accounts receivable experience required.
• SAP or similar ERP system experience required.
• Must have knowledge and ability to prepare and use Excel spreadsheets.
