 1920’s Funeral Parlor / Theater Cincinnati Victor Filigree Luminaire Floor Fan Lamp Height: 70 in Diameter: 30 in This is in relatively good condition.
It cranks however does need to be cleaned and oiled by someone that knows about fans.

This fan made by the Cincinnati Victor Co.
This fan was made for funeral homes and mortuary for the use and display of the deceased.
The purpose shoo the flying insects and the odors away from the casket and to illuminate the deceased with warm color lamps.
Aside from its morbid history The luminaire is considered one of the most beautiful floor fans ever made.
Over the years we have found a few of these.
Cosmetically this is the best original example we have ever seen.
If you area collector that you already know The issues these fans have.
The housing around the motor is cast in a poor metal that self-destructs over time.
This is the reason that the motor fails to work on most examples.
We removed the motor and replaces the inner core keeping the original housing.

It was not an easy job.
In addition we rewired the fan and lamp parts.
the fan will now run as new and should be good for another 100 years.
All the outer decorative castings are perfect and still have the original finish.
