early 1900s Spindle Back, Cane Seat Chair We are selling this gorgeous antique chair from the early 1900s as we are downsizing.
This beautiful chair belonged to my Great Aunt who was born in the late 1800s.
The style is "spindle back" and the chair has a "cane seat" which is in very good condition.
This chair has resided in our smoke free family for approximately 100 years.
You can see the growth rings of the tree if you look closely at the close up photo of the back of the chair (this is stunning).
We believe that the wood is chestnut or maple.
