Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the continued functionality and reliability of legacy codebases through troubleshooting and necessary updates.
Collaborate with the team to support modernization efforts, including refactoring, rewriting, and integrating new technologies for improved performance and maintainability.
Develop comprehensive test cases and conduct unit testing to verify the quality and robustness of code changes.
Actively contribute innovative ideas and solutions for modernization projects, identifying areas for improvement and proposing forward-looking strategies.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, adapt to different programming languages and technologies, and communicate ideas and changes clearly to team members.
Job Qualifications: JOB QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 years of experience in C++ and Python.
2-3 years of experience in core algorithms or software engine components.
Expertise in algorithms and algorithmic optimization for data retrieval and manipulation.
Strong skills in file I/O, storage mechanisms, and memory management.
Knowledge of C#, Golang or Rust is preferred.
Expertise in geospatial technology is preferred.
Proficiency in popular geospatial extensions and plugins for PostgreSQL, including PostGIS, pgRouting, and pointcloud preferred but not needed.
Skills Proficiency in algorithms and their application to optimize software performance.
Highly analytical mindset, capable of dissecting complex problems and finding efficient solutions, including those related to geospatial data analysis.
Expertise in data structures, ensuring efficient data storage and manipulation.
Proficiency in SQL for database interaction and optimization.
