Web Developer

Description: Job Purpose: Working as part of GSM's Digital Marketing team, the Web Developer will work closely with other marketing team members, brand managers and various internal and external stakeholders to maintain, develop and improve web presence across all GSM Outdoors’ brands.
Summary of Essential Job Duties General maintenance and updates of existing GSM websites and e-commerce stores? Development of campaign landing pages and implementation of other conversion rate initiative.
Implementation of plugins and utilities Implementation and management of reporting and analytics tools for website sales Monitor performance against budget numbers and set KPIs Liase with agencies and other stakeholders regarding web development needs.

Knowledge of e-commerce and web development best practices.
Knowledge of WordPress Knowledge of Big Commerce Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and best practices.
Knowledge of Google Analytics Advanced knowledge of HTML / CSS etc.
Microsoft Office 365 and related tools Knowledge of or previous experience in the Hunting, Fishing and Outdoors industry is an asset.
Strategic Thinking Data and KPI Analysis Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with developing and executing web strategies to drive measurable results in an ecommerce or subscription app business.
Experience working with Big Commerce.
Experience measuring and reporting on conversion rates using GA4 and related tools.
Experience in maintaining and updating websites using WordPress.
