The WordPress Web Developer will be responsible for helping maintain and consistently improve the Christensen Arms website.

Job Description
As a WordPress Web Developer at Christensen Arms, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our WordPress website.
The ideal candidate is not only a skilled developer but also a team player with strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
You should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams while also having the discipline to self-manage and execute tasks independently when needed.
Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with internal and agency design resources to maintain and continually refine the Christensen Arms website to provide a great user experience and reinforce our world-class brand and the leader in the industry
Customize our WordPress theme and plugins to meet project requirements
Implement SEO best practices to optimize website visibility on search engines
Work on website performance optimization, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user experiencesespecially on mobile devices
Utilize WooCommerce to create and manage e-commerce solutions when required
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring website functionality, accessibility, compliance, and security
Stay updated on the latest WordPress and web development trends and technologies
Manage our WPEngine hosting environment to maximize website performance

Qualifications
At least 2 years of professional experience in WordPress web development
Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development
Obsession with website performance and User Experience
Experience managing a website hosting environment
WPEngine experience and expertise is a key advantage
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of SEO best practices and their implementation
Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce development
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
