The Tableau Business Analyst is responsible for translating complex data into clear and insightful visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
This position works closely with department leaders and managers from various departments to create meaningful and interactive data visualizations that help the organization make data-driven decisions.
Ideal candidates will have the ability to collaborate with various teams to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Visualization Development: Create interactive and visually appealing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Tableau.
Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including NetSuite, SQL, and CSV files, into Tableau for analysis and visualization.
Data Analysis: Work closely with business leaders and managers from various departments to understand data requirements and ensure the accuracy and relevance of visualizations.
Dashboard Design: Design intuitive and user-friendly dashboards that provide actionable insights to department leaders and managers.
Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for speed and efficiency, ensuring they can handle large datasets without performance issues.
Data Security: Implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data in Tableau reports and dashboards.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, data models, and visualization designs.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively utilize Tableau reports and dashboards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Marketing, and others to ensure data visualization projects align with organizational goals.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science).
Proven experience in Tableau, including proficiency in creating complex data visualizations and dashboards.
Proven experience in NetSuite, including proficiency in creating saved searches and reports.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Strong knowledge of SQL server and SQL saved views for data manipulation and extraction.
Working knowledge of Tableau Prep.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey data-driven insights.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in an office environment and as Is the nature of our business Is exposed to manufacturing operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
