Duties:
Work collaboratively with business analysts, team leads and development team to develop scalable and resilient hybrid and Cloud-based data solutions that support critical financial market clearing and risk activities.
Develop distributed, scalable, highly speed event-driven transaction processing system services using Java, functional programming, and Kafka in cloud environments like AWS or Google PCF.
Develop and deliver technical solutions using foundational cloud services from AWS public cloud like VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, or IAM.
Design and develop security layer components for security systems for authentication using Java, JWT tokens and Spring.
Develop CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and PCF, including monitoring using Splunk and Prometheus.
Support the application development of big data applications for business requirements in agreed architecture framework and Agile environment.
Thoroughly analyze requirements, develop, test, and document software quality to ensure proper implementation.
Perform application and project risk analysis and recommend quality improvements.
Assist Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required.

Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, information systems or related and three (3) years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, Java developer, consultant or related.
Special Skills Required:

$117,300-$162,200
