You will design, develop, test, and integrate real-time weapon simulations for military training devices.
This is a hands-on, full life cycle software engineering position for experienced software engineers who desire to grow beyond traditional boundaries and create enduring solutions for a truly meaningful purpose.

Identify complex problems and provide solution options within program constraints Quickly and effectively breakdown assignments and requirements into work tasks Understand, create, and communicate complex design specifications in varying formats Utilize experience, judgment, and logic to perform cost-benefit analysis Succinctly provide schedule and effort estimates for Agile and Waterfall processes Meet or exceed cost, schedule, and quality commitments Develop scalable, high-fidelity software for real-time simulation and training applications Design, develop, code, integrate and test simulation software to meet requirements Perform integration and configuration of weapon simulations Fly real military flight simulators to conduct testing and evaluation of delivered software Troubleshoot and maintain existing simulation models Apply software engineering principles to complete assigned tasks and schedule commitments Participate in peer reviews, identify, track and repair defects Mentor and guide other engineers from a technical and career perspective Qualifications and Education Requirements B.

in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience required Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance 8+ years of experience developing software in the following languages: C++ / Fortran / Ada Experience developing software for real-time applications Experience with advanced object-oriented programming concepts, techniques, and patterns Experience various testing approaches and methodologies (unit, component, integration, etc.
) Experience in source code management and defect tracking Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel as needed (Domestic and International) Due to U.
