Develop, code, test, and debug, and optimize hospitality-related software applications.
Sabre Hospitality Solutions, which is an industry-leading provider of Central Reservation Solutions and a business unit within Sabre, provides Hotel Distribution and Reservation Services to over 32,000 hotels worldwide.
We are now looking for a motivated software developer to join our team as a Summer Intern to perform the following duties:
Under general supervision, develops, codes, tests, and debugs new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity
May assist in the development of software technical documentation and demonstrate software
May design and build prototype applications
May work on one or more of several exciting projects such as Re-structuring of internal collaborative tools and Enhancements to our suite of hospitality applications
Qualifications:
Technical skills – .
Net, Web Services and Object-Oriented Analysis/Design
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Databases (Oracle preferred)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
Experience in Agile Development
Familiarity with TDD, Continuous Integration, Unit testing
Version control systems: SVN or GIT
Attributes or Experience Preferred:
Experience in the developing Windows/java software applications
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Education:
Preferred Majors: Computer Science or Engineering
Currently enrolled in college pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
