No OPT/CPT What you'll do Contributes to the technical approach of application and system design of our cloud infrastructure.
Maintains and enhances the Kubernetes work load and SAAS artifacts up to date with automation in focus.
Works with product management, business analysts, developers, testers, and architectural teams to define strategy and requirements.
Develops and drives high-level strategic initiatives and secures commitment from external and internal teams for new initiatives Drives consensus on technical approach, sets timelines, and leads cross-functional application teams from design through delivery Provides technical guidance, direction, and decisions to team developing custom and off-the-shelf web applications and services Works with Application/Enterprise Architects to establish development and deployment standards, and ensures adherence to technology platform decisions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline 2 years of Docker with building, using, and publishing Docker images for Kubernetes 2 years of Kubernetes Services with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts 2 years of Kubernetes networking with deep understanding of how the Kubernetes components architected to work.
5 years’ experience in supporting vital middleware applications.
2 years Microservice framework / REST development Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Technical leadership of IT personnel Previous experience with HELM charts Basic understating of TDD and BDD concepts Familiar with PCI compliance standards Skills, Licenses & Certifications Experience in Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (Azure Devops, Github) Experience in installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administering various application server stacks (web servers, application servers, caches, message queues).
Experience in working Kubernetes workload, setting up the clusters, managing the certificates, upgrading the services and setting up the LBs.
Experience in using monitoring tools like Dynatrace and logging tools like Azure Data Explorer or logDNA.
Experience implementing and managing SSL certificates Ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, to be delivered in a successful and timely manner Must have wide range of technical expertise, client server, virtualized systems, Cloud (PaaS, IaaS) Good understanding of load balancing concepts and experience with highly available distributed environments, Firewalls, TCP/IP, hardware load-balancing (ideally F5), ngnix, akamai, and apigee Good understanding of SOA, Web Services (WSDL, XML and SOAP).
Strong experience with migration of applications to cloud environments through automation/orchestration Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Microsoft Azure or any similar public cloud offering Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Basic Database Communication: Postgres Good interpersonal skills to interact with senior level personnel, subordinates, and team members This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and experience working in a DevOps environment.
Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting is essential.
