Scarlet Macaw - $3,800

Looking to re-home Ruby our Scarlet Macaw.
She's 10 years old and has been a member of our family since she was a baby.
We reluctantly need to find a home for Ruby because our oldest son is Special Needs and now that he's older we're finding he needs more dedicated time and attention which has left Ruby without the attention she deserves.
Ruby loves pecans, showers, watching morning sunrises, and just hanging out.
I've not kept her in a cage for about 6 years but I don't think it would be an issue for her to use a cage again.
Ruby currently has a wall mounted perch in my office that she enjoys (Will send the perch with Ruby to her new home).
She typically spends her time hanging out on the perch and will occasionally fly a lap or two around my office.
I can also hold her and tell her "perch" and she will fly from my hand and land on her perch.
It's a fun trick that everyone loves.
She can speak a little (Ruby, hello, pretty bird, food, water) but it’s not very clear.
Ruby is a sweetheart but Scarlet Macaws are sassy birds.
If you're not an experienced bird owner then Ruby is not for you.
