We are looking for college intern who will be passionate to work for Envoy Air, the largest regional airline part of the American Airlines Group (AAG).
This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences.
Envoy operates Embraer E-175 aircraft and has a new fleet E-170 aircraft.
The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.
S.
to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers.
You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.
Responsibilities:
With this internship, the intern(s) will assist Purchasing and Contracts department with four primary projects – reviewing certain business processes for potential changes and improvements, analyzing top spend data for upcoming bids, evaluating efficacy of recent component upgrades, and developing a supplier database to support future bids.
Typical job duties include:
Meeting with Manager to define objectives and develop assumptions
Combining data from multiple sources, including numeric, historical procurement transactions, warranty and technical documents
Analyzing data consistent with assigned objectives such as cost, availability, performance, demand forecasts
Developing summary of results, recommendations and alternatives
Presenting findings to Manager
Meeting with colleagues across multiple departments, suppliers and management
Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
Minimum age of 18
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in: Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management
Must be classified as a Junior or Senior upon start of internship

25 minimum Grade Point Average.
Calculate GPA online
Advanced proficiency in MS Office that includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficiency in organizational, decision-making and problem solving skills
Ability to present data to all levels of management
Must be willing and able to travel
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Experience sorting, organizing, analyzing and presenting large data sets
Experience with problem solving, forecasting, and advanced financial analytical skills
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
