Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in typing orders, preparing medications, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
We are looking for some one to work Friday, Saturday and Monday afternoon/evenings.
This is a specialty pharmacy servicing hospice patients.
Duties: - Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals - Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs - Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Protect patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program - Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Knowledge of medical terminology - Experience in medication administration and patient care - Ability to work in critical care settings This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will be valued.
