*Job Summary:* The Senior Center Activity Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations of health and wellness programs as well as assist in marketing needs with advertising and speaking with patients about benefit enrollments.
*Wellness Responsibilities:* * Design and implement daily health & wellness activities for our senior members * Procure non-profit organizations in the health and wellness field to host seminars and programs within our wellness centers * Facilitate educational seminars, fitness classes, social events to create patient engagement * Support patient enrollment via center activities and campaigns * Ensure all compliance requirements are met as it relates to members and the organization * Create and enforce a visitor (other than patients) sign-in sheet *Additional Responsibilities:* * Visit identified marketing sites to promote Valora Medical and Wellness Centers Services and Doctors * Work closely with clinical personnel to ensure wellness center activities are organized and successful * Inform prospective patients of Valora Medical's services * Participate in Health Fair and Community Events to bring awareness of the company * Partner with senior communities and business leaders to promote Valora Medical's services and healthcare providers * Participate in patient enrollment events * Assist in delivering presentations to prospective patients * Identify possible partnerships in the community where to market the company *Education/Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or equivalent required * 2+ years’ experience in developing curriculum and schedules * Bilingual in English and Spanish is required * Must have a valid Driver's License * Must have reliable transportation to commute to all clinic locations in the DFW area * Proficient in MS PowerPoint and creating presentations timely * Experience in the healthcare industry is desired but not required * Experience with developing fitness programs is a plus * Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills * Ability to interact effectively with the public * Able to build relationships with anyone, specifically senior adults * Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, with the ability to work on weekends when necessary * Ability to establish working relationships, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and apply basic staff etiquette in dealing with others * Excellent relationship-building skills * Ability to deal with conflict and rejection successfully * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail * Ability to learn new procedures and adapt quickly to change * Innovative, motivated, organized, and team player * Follow through with commitments * Ability to work independently *EEO Statement: *Valora Medical Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, marital status, genetic information, citizenship status, or other status protected by law.
