We are looking for a Flight Instructor to join our team! Flight Instructors act as both the expert and coach of body flight.
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals who will promote the sport of body flight through careful exciting instruction, and to oversee each customer receives a safe and thrilling iFLY experience.

Every team member on the iFLY Flight Crew exemplify and deliver our core values of SOAR: Safety First Outrageous Passion Accountability Respect Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Safety – Promote customer safety throughout their time in the wind tunnel and facility Service – Provide an amazing experience for your customers Sales – Sell return visits and other exciting flight opportunities per company guideline Meet and greet customers with world class customer service Provide customers with engaging and interactive pre-flight training Assist with gearing and de-gearing customers Coach and encourage novice and advanced flyers of all ages Manage the operation and functions of the vertical wind tunnel Capture photos and videos of customers in-flight Maintain the facility’s cleanliness Support your teammates with miscellaneous tasks when needed As needed, perform CSR responsibilities such as, check-in guests, confirm flyer reservations, answer incoming sales calls, stock merchandise, and process refunds.
As needed, participation in marketing related photography, video, and social content capture for promotional usage.
This job could require travel up to 10% Physical Requirements: Physically hold and support in the wind tunnel persons that weigh up to 300 lbs Maintain and support a flyer’s weight by physically gripping flyer’s torso and/or legs to move flyer in three-dimensional space and to rotate about central axis Endurance to physically withstand wind speeds up to <160mph for extended periods of time Withstand impacts caused from flyers descending rapidly, flyers contacting walls, flyers contacting other flyers, and flyers impacting your torso and limbs Safely control a flyer’s movement and position in the wind tunnel while also flying with the student Perform all of the above for up to 13 people, 30 minutes at a time, up to 5 times a day, up to 5 days a week Travel up and down stairs and ladders several times per day Spend multiple hours in confined maintenance spaces What We are Looking For: Must be 18 years of age or older Weekend availability is required Exceptional selling skills Exceptional customer-service skills Enjoys and interested in helping others learn to fly Integrity, punctuality, and professional appearance Ability to work well within a team maintaining positive relationships Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary and produce quality work The Good Stuff: Average hourly rate, including commissions - $23/hr.
