Overview:
Blackhawk Network is looking to bring on a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing Incentives team.
In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients and converting inbound leads that derive from marketing leads to paying customers.
You will have a direct impact on our sales by targeting Hr, Marketing and Customer Experience executive level decision makers to promote our products and services.
The successful incumbent will have a great opportunity to exceed their sales goals and build out their career pathway at Blackhawk.
Our ideal candidate is highly driven, motivated and has a strong phone presence with the ability to influence and be persuasive.
Responsibilities:
Make Inbound and Outbound calls on provided leads to generate new business
Manage a sales pipeline and effectively communicate with prospective customers
Utilize sales and objection-handling techniques to present solutions for small to mid-size businesses
Achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals as described in the compensation plan
Utilize sales software to maintain pipeline and forecast sales/revenue
Adhere to all company and department guidelines, processes and procedures
Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience with Business-to-business inbound and outbound sales
Open to new grads with internship experience and an interest in a sales career
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone
Previous experience using sales tech stack including Salesloft/Outreach, Gong, Drift, LinkedIn Navigator, Salesforce or MS Dynamics to forecast sales, revenue, analyze sales data and customer buying trends
High energy individuals that have a proven track record of achieving sales goals
Ability to work with little supervision to sell consultatively and close sales with prospects and clients
Prior experience working in a team environment to achieve company objectives
Ability to work under critical time constraints and meet deadlines
Self-motivated and well organized
Strong phone presence, listening and presentation skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of calls per day

Residents (excluding Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota): $80,000
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
