Non-decaled company car On the job/cross training opportunities Encouraging and collaborative team environment Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy What you will do: Our Engineered Systems Territory Manager will actively sell to, manage, and train accounts within the assigned territory (TX, LA, OK, MS, AL, NM, AR).
This would include setting up distribution, closing projects with end users, gaining specification listings with appropriate product lines, conducting hazard analyses, assisting with calculations of system performance and working jobsites to make sure the product is installed correctly and to review products with the field personnel.
The Territory Manager would have responsibility for achieving financial goals for the territory including revenue and margin expectations.

How you will do it: In alignment with Sales targets, regional growth opportunities, leading edge sales team practices and behaviors this position: Analyzes territory’s new business opportunities, develops sales plans, and executes planned action steps in order to acquire new business in line with Company strategies and growth objectives Presents products to customers to accomplish customer acceptance of the value-added proposition attached to the company’s product and its services, and to achieve sale closures on terms that are mutually satisfactory to the customer and the company Develops annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans detailing concepts and actions necessary to achieve business growth opportunities consistent with the company’s growth objectives Participates with other regional sales colleagues in sharing marketing intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales, team player who can collaborate across the region Coordinates new and repeat sales through distribution to ensure 100% customer satisfaction with the company’s order fulfillment process Builds and maintains good relationships with customer/distribution at all levels to ensure 100% account retention Conducts seminars for AHJ’s and end users as well as product certification training classes for distributors as needed Is an active participant in industry associations and events 80% travel time within the territory is expected to properly perform expected duties and maximize sales potential.
Company vehicle with gas card and maintenance will be provided! Ability to operate Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce, SAP platform, and company software What we look for: Required BS/BA degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or mechanical engineering, or related field experience, or 6 years industry experience in lieu of degree 4 or more years of sales or sales management experience within a related field; fire suppression industry preferred Individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to negotiate with customer/distributor Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to report and manage price strategies within the market area, along with reporting internally and channel partners 75% travel within assigned territory Valid drivers license and good driving record
