Moffitt Services is looking to fill an Outside Sales Representative role to help with business development.
Primary responsibilities will include field sales activities within a defined geographical territory for projects related to prospective and existing customers.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for sales growth within all sectors serviced by Moffitt Services including Fuel, Lubricants, Construction, Industrial, Petrochemical and Special Events.
This role will help with developing and implementing strategies to systematically scale the day-to-day operations and customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Participate in short and long-term planning sessions with senior management to implement process improvements in the assigned functional area.
Develop sales strategies to target existing and potential accounts.
Develop a lead generation plan for target markets.
Schedule discovery calls and sales presentations with potential customers Deliver effective sales presentations on the company's product lines in response to the unique needs of each customer.
Achieve sales goals and KPI's as set by the Business Development Manager Cross collaborates with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
Act as liaison between customers, sales, field operations, and office personnel to resolve general inquiries & issues for customers.
Analyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development which may include activity and status reports.
Network and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business.
Follow up on any sales leads requested from other representatives within the organization and enter all customer data into CRM in a timely manner.
Understanding your target market and identifying quality prospects within that market.
Travel throughout target region(s), to present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers.
Organic growth within existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Responsible for partnering with client regarding collection of payment.
Responsible for preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders for Moffitt Companies and customer needs.
Visiting clients and prospects to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Partner with client to identify current challenges and help presenting solutions.
Other related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications Must be able to travel.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must have at least 4 years of experience in a related industry.
Experience with sales CRM, Customer Relationship Management, tool.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to build and deliver sales presentations.
Champion, demonstrate and uphold our core values regarding Customer Service, Communication and Safety Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent field preferred.
Relocation This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements 25% Travel.
Work Schedule/Benefits This position is designated to the Austin territory and is held Monday through Friday.
