WIG is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Director, Business Development.
As part of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for growing revenue by identifying and advancing opportunities that align with the needs of our customers.
You will be responsible for identifying and advancing opportunities where organizations have a need to improve the quality of cellular service within a building or space.
This is a customer facing role that advances our business by working with customers to identify the need and tailor the service offering to their need.
The role includes identifying new business opportunities, guiding customers in a consultative manner, and working with cross-functional internal teams involved in delivering cellular network services.
Key responsibilities include: · Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve personal objectives that that are consistent with corporate strategy.
· Develop leads to drive additional sales through cold-calling, partner-selling, and lead-generation campaigns.
· Develop customer relationships that are conducive to additional sales and reference selling.
· Demonstrate problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate customer business needs and work cross-functionally to execute on those solutions.
· Engage with internal cross-functional team (engineering, construction, finance, and legal) to advance new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, implementation, operations) to ensure successful delivery of service, acting as a bridge to customers and partners.
· Monitor market research to identify potential developing business opportunities.
· Provide market feedback about competitive offerings, prospect needs, and product development opportunities.
· Engage with CRM management tools and sales report preparation for company leadership.
· Work with the team to support channel strategy and programs.
· Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university (advanced degree in business or technical field preferred).
· A minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in a Business Development position (specific experience working with the indoor wireless or enterprise services verticals preferred).
· Familiarity with indoor cellular networks is preferred.
· Familiarity with commercial real estate and/or hospitality (hoteliers) is required.
· Familiarity with Enterprise IT is beneficial.
· Demonstrated strong account relationship skills.
Be creative, driven, and self-motivated with an inherent curiosity.
Display a demonstrated track record of putting clients first, creating win-win results for both clients and other relevant stakeholders.
· Comfortable working multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
· Strong organization skills including planning and prioritization.
· Experience working with channel partners and/or resellers.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· The ability to influence and persuade our sales partners to sell our services.
· Self-starter that can work independently and as a member of a team.
· Occasional travel will be required, as well as occasional after hours internal and client meetings.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based data entry.
