Responsibilities:
- Follow blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques and tools.
- Strong knowledge of flooring installation, metal stud framing, fixture installation, caulking, frame carpentry, stucco, mold remediation, trim carpentry, electrical work, and construction estimating.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent measurement and mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license.
