***Multiple Positions Available***
Builds and deploys applications using Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and automated deployment tools - Jenkins.
Builds scalable, resilient, Cloud-based systems.
Provides application support - on-call support.
Works with product management on software requirements, decomposes epics into stories, and delivers solutions.
Builds and deploys Cloud enabled applications using 12 factor design.
Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing payment applications.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing payment applications.
Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing 12 factor Cloud-compliant Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Spring Boot, Java, YAML, JSON, Spring Tool Suite, LISA, Wire Mock, and Postman; creating unit test cases using JUnit; maintaining contracts in the form of Swaggers; maintaining source code using Git and Bitbucket; and performing the CI of application build and deployment processes using Jenkins and Maven.
DE building User Interfaces (UIs) for financial institutions using Angular and Visual Studio; performing unit testing using Jasmine and Karma; and building responsive, accessible, and readable UIs for screen readers using Windows Eyes and Job Access With Speech (JAWS).
DE writing and optimizing database queries using PL and SQL; and implementing SQL queries using Spring Data JDBC and Spring JPA framework.
DE participating in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - performing defect tracking and fixing, triaging production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and documenting production incidents - using ServiceNow and Jira; and monitoring Cloud applications using AppDynamics and Splunk.
